KLINGELNBERG was founded in 1863 and adheres to the traditional machinery company.

When the company was founded, its main business was to produce various mechanical tools at its factory in Remscheid, Germany. In 1923, the first bevel gear hob milling machine was launched, equipped with a milling head with adjustable cone angle, which triggered market changes.
