Kadant Canada Corp. dba Kadant Carmanah Design is located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It designs and manufactures equipment for the board and engineered wood products, pulp and paper, and sawn industries. The company has been operating in Vancouver for more than 90 years, and its offices, production and warehousing workshops have now been relocated to Surrey, British Columbia (about 20 minutes southeast of the original Vancouver site). The relocation took place on August 22, 2011.

Peeling

The company has signed a license agreement with Japan's Fuji Kogyo Company to manufacture and sell Fuji King rotary peeling machines. The product performed well, with sales of more than 275 units worldwide. Fuji King peeler thoroughly under freezing conditions and can handle tree species with broken skins, such as eucalyptus. The machine can be easily adjusted to suit different conditions and reduce fiber loss.

Shaved slices

Kadant Carmanah has a long history of supplying and repairing chippers worldwide and providing OEM quality parts. The chipper brands include Sumner, Black Clawson, CAE and Nicholson, which can be used for waste wood, whole logs, pellets and plywood treatments. .

Pulp and papermaking
