In 1955, China Qingqing Honey Factory cooperated with Watsons' soda factory to process honey, and this innovation brought China's honey production to the road of industrialization. In 1956, Qingqing Honey Factory was incorporated into Guanshengyuan and became a production workshop in Guanshengyuan. It was the main supply and export of honey at that time.
Guanshengyuan has implemented the strategic goal of revitalizing, expanding brands and strengthening flagship products in blocks, and has begun to reform the property rights system of small business entities. In January 2002, Bee Products became an independent Shanghai Guanshengyuan Bee Products Co., Ltd., which specializes in bee product business.
Shanghai Guanshengyuan Bee Products Co., Ltd. actively reforms, changes the labor employment system, reduces procurement costs, pays attention to product quality, and accelerates the development of new products. In just one year of implementation of these measures, honey sales achieved remarkable results. In 2003, honey sales doubled compared with the previous year, becoming the second largest product with the best sales in Guanshengyuan.
In 2008, Guanshengyuan Bee Products Co., Ltd. moved to No. 11 Huiyang Road, Fengxian Xinghuo Development Zone, Shanghai. During the factory relocation process, production equipment was fully upgraded. Through the relocation and construction of the factory building, a modern production operation system has been basically realized.
