Founded in France by Arséne Gitzhoven in 1917, Jetsen produced cameras, shutter lines, shutters (at a speed of 750 a day) and produced boxed film frames for the photography industry.
The 1942 World War caused the company to temporarily closure.
In 1944, Jetsin resumed production and introduced tripods to products from the 1950s.
In 1960, retired Arsé ne Gitzhoven took over the company with his daughter Yvonne Plieger and her husband, dedicated to the development of a wide variety of high-quality tripods and gimbals exported to more than 54 countries.
In 1992, Jetsin became part of the Wittech Group, a multinational holding company specializing in professional photographers, broadcasters and filmmakers. Jetsin's consistent standards help maintain the company's reputation for excellence in the global photography industry.
Now Jenxin is still working hard to produce the best camera accessories and brackets with the simplest, most direct and most elegant solutions...although there is a long and difficult road to go.
