Brand Introduction

Garmin was founded in 1989 and was co-founded by Dr. Min Kao and Gary Burrell. Dr. Gao Minhuan and Gary Burrell worked together, and they specialized in the fields of aerospace technology industry, GPS, navigation and aeronautical electronics. When working together, we discovered the huge potential of navigation-related technologies, and then started a business together, and we are determined to become a global leader in aviation, navigation, automotive, outdoor navigation and other electronic products markets. The brand name Garmin is a combination of the two names - Gary and Min.

In the early stages of its entrepreneurship, the products were well received by the integrated design of GPS100 navigation equipment, and gradually applied relevant communication and navigation technologies to the aviation, navigation and automotive navigation, outdoor and fitness markets.
