In the same year, it was chosen as one of the top 70 state-owned enterprise prioritized for development by the provincial govermment of Guangdong and as one of the pilot enterprises in which modern management systems were establishes. In Oct 1997, it was identified by the Chinese Science Committee as one of the proritized High-tech enterprise groups in the technological innovation to be recognized by the Guangdong govermment. In 1999, it was identified as one of the 50leading enterprises of Guangdong province. It made its way to the index A stock market in Shenzhen in May, 2000 with its name FSPG and No. 000973.
