DUNOON began in Scotland in 1973 and moved to STAFFORDSHIRE County, England in the 1980s. The monograph produces fine bone china, and has always been the market leader in the British bone china industry, currently has more than 500 employees.
In 1973, two executives from the former Staffordshire Potteries Limited, Stoke-on-Trent: Gordon Smith, Sales & Marketing Specialist and Bill ·Bill Harvey, a manufacturing expert, reached an agreement on business strategy - creating "high quality and well-designed" popular cups and tableware, thus setting up their own company.
In the early 1970s, Britain was in a period of economic crisis. Gordon and Bill chose to start a business in Dunoon in the Argyll region of western Scotland. Here, the government provides a factory with a rent-free 2-year factory and a small amount of startup capital. The reason I chose Dunoon is that it is a beach resort town with beautiful scenery and refreshing feelings, which attracts many tourists, who will also visit factories and shops.
In 1981, Dunoon's new factory was completed in Stone, Staffordshire, England, and the two founders returned to their hometown, the traditional location of the British pottery manufacturing industry. Many artists and designers were attracted by them to design exquisite bone porcelain cup patterns and styles for Dunoon, and have since gained widespread recognition. Here, Dunoon began to have high quality and revolutionary nature. The innovative design path is sold to major high-end retail stores and department stores around the world, such as Harrods (London), Saks, Bloomingdales, and David Jones (Australia).
