In 2014, in the context of supporting the development of the country's western region, Wuhan Dongli Group signed an investment agreement with the local government to invest 3 billion yuan to establish Inner Mongolia Dongli Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") and built a high-purity polycrystalline silicon project with an annual output of 20,000 tons.

The company is located in Urat Qianqi Industrial Park, covering an area of ​​about 800 mu, with more than 700 employees, and has 28 R&D patents and 7 patents in the application. The company's annual production of 12,000 tons of silicon material project was officially put into production in 2017, and has completed an investment of 3 billion yuan. Its current production is stable and of excellent quality, with a proportion of its single crystal material reaching more than 90%; in 2021, the company's investment is about 500 million yuan. The existing system will be improved in quality and efficiency, and technologically transformed and upgraded. The current production capacity will reach 20,000 tons, the proportion of single crystal materials will reach more than 95%, the output value will reach 3 billion yuan in that year, and the output value will exceed 4 billion yuan in 2022. In 2022, the company added 5 billion yuan to invest in the second phase of the project with an annual output of 48,000 tons. It will reach production in March 2023. After the production, the company's total annual output value can reach 20 billion yuan, and 1,500 people will be employed.

The group has laid out a number of new energy power station projects such as photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation nationwide, and plans to complete the development and construction of 2GW of new energy power generation within three years, with a total investment of about 10 billion yuan and an annual income of about 1 billion yuan after completion. At present, the company has jointly established Shuozhou Donglichuanneng New Energy Development Co., Ltd. with Sichuan New Energy Power Co., Ltd., and has launched the first phase of 300MW photovoltaic power station project in Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. The total investment of the project is about 1.4 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and connected to the grid in June 2023, and the annual photovoltaic power generation will be about 450 million kWh after completion, which can effectively alleviate the difficulties of local energy shortage and contribute to China's goal of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
