Davis Standard (Suzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd. is a factory in Davis Standard in the Asia-Pacific region with R&D, sales, manufacturing and after-sales service functions, and is one of the important steps in Davis Standard's globalization strategy. The company was established in 2012 and is located in Suzhou High-tech Zone. Davis-Standard Suzhou is committed to serving customers in Asia and has established strategic partnerships with Baxter Medical, DuPont, Nike, Kubo Standard, etc.
Davis - A brief history of standard enterprise development
1848: Reliance Machinery Company was founded in Connecticut, USA in 1848 to manufacture cotton gins;
1875: The company was renamed Standard Machinery Company.
1907: Standard Machinery began manufacturing pressing molds and transferring hollow equipment.
1948: The first extruder was commissioned; it was retired after operating for 50 years; it is still preserved at the National Plastics Center Museum in Leominster, Massachusetts.
1955: Ben Davis became a partner in the company. The company was renamed Davis-Standard, now known as Davis Standard, and began to design and manufacture extrusion equipment for the emerging rubber and plastics industry at that time.
1964: The company moved to Pawcatuck, where the company is currently located.
1991-2016: Global growth, mergers and new design and manufacturing companies in New Jersey, New York, Germany, Finland and China, as well as sales and service offices all over the world.
Davis Standard has made great strides in the field of expertise and products through strategic acquisitions of industry top brands. For example: Merger/acquisition of product lines from Black Clawson, Egan, ER-WE-PA, Sterling, Betol, Brookes, Repiquet, NRM, Merritt, Killion, Harrel and Circonix.
2017-To date: Merger with Mailefer to leverage their respective advantages to provide customers with more comprehensive services.
