Brand Introduction

The story of COSTA began on Old Paradise Street in London in 1971. The brothers Bruno and Sergio Costa from Italy have been dedicated to the irresistible coffee, and have created the unique Mocha Italian mixed coffee beans in COSTA. Their first coffee shop was opened in central London. They perfectly match the two coffee beans Arabica and Robert, and the charming aroma and grease are retained by slow roasting.

To this day, COSTA's footprint has gone from London to 39 countries around the world, but our persistence in the quality of handmade coffee has never changed. All of our COSTA's current coffee beans are produced in Rainforest Alliance certified farms. Each carefully prepared Mocha Italian mixed coffee bean must be tasted by our COSTA coffee master Gennaro Pelliccia and then delivered to more than 3,000 worldwide Many stores. Every gorgeous turn from coffee beans to coffee in a cup is handmade by our barista just to present our passion and original intention for coffee.

For more than 40 years, COSTA stores around the world still adhere to this correct rather than quick production technique. Whether you are in London, Paris, Shanghai or Singapore, we welcome you to the COSTA coffee shop that is popular in the UK. In our ingenious store, enjoy delicious snacks and coffee and spend a great time with us.

COSTA enters the Chinese market

At the end of 2006, Costa established Yueda Kashijia (Shanghai) Catering Management Co., Ltd. in Shanghai and opened its first store in China on the Pedestrian Street of Nanjing East Road.

In the second half of 2008, Costa established Hualian Kashijia Catering Management Co., Ltd. in Beijing, officially entered the Beijing market and quickly developed 43 chain stores in Beijing.

In April 2011, Whitbread Group announced a new five-year plan to double Costa’s coverage network, reaching 3,500 stores, and double global sales to 1.3 billion pounds. Obviously, Costa’s expansion in China will be directly related to whether the above goals can be achieved.
