The company started its business as a manufacturer of movable coil type DC motors, and joined the Citizen Group in 2007 and became the current Citizen Chiba Precision Co., Ltd. (Co., Ltd.).
Company History
In August 1979, Chiba Prefecture City, Kawashi City, Chiba Prefecture, with a registered capital of 9 million yen, and founded Chiba Precision Co., Ltd.
In January 1980, a small high-performance hollow cup DC motor, TORMAX, was developed.
In February 1982, the rotor patent application for high-speed DC motors, dynamic balanced hollow cup motors, mainly used in dentistry
In March 1987, signed a technical cooperation agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. on the implementation of the "Planetary Roller Equipment"
In March 1988, the registered capital increased by 27 million yen
The ultra-small AC servo motor was developed in April 1993
In December 1998, the ultra-small linear unit motor was developed
Obtained ISO9002 certification in October 1999
In November, the registered capital increased by 45 million yen
Established the Yachiyo NC factory in September 2003
Obtained ISO9001:2000 certification in December
In April 2004, Chiba Precision Hong Kong Co., Ltd. China Factory was established
Completed the market lineup of micro brushless motor products in April
Laser galvanometer scanning series was developed in July
Established the Eight Thousand OEM factory in November
Obtained ISO14001:2004 certification in January 2006
Joined Citizen Group in April 2007, and its company name was changed from "Chirai Precision Co., Ltd." to "Citizen Chiba Precision Co., Ltd."
In April 2008, the new factory building of the Eight Thousand OEM factory was completed
In June, the head office moved to a new factory
In November, a servo motor with an integrated wave gear reducer, a spindle motor for machine tools, and an Ø7.6 linear motor was developed.
"Wave Drive System" WD20 series products that launched integrated servo motors of wave gear reducers in October 2009
Low-cost miniature linear unit series will be released in November
Obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification and ISO 14001:2015 certification in July 2017
