Carter's Brand Ranking
Brand Introduction

Carter's is a leading brand in the American baby and child clothing market, founded in 1865 by Mr. William Carter.

During the 1870s and 1880s, Cater's mainly produced and sold adult underwear.

By 1918, Carter's sold more than 25,000 underwear suitable for all family members to wear.

In the 1920s and 1940s, Carter's invented many special designs for baby and child clothing. For example, Nevabind's cuffs and Handicuff gloves are used to prevent babies from scratching themselves, and Jiffon-style necklines help moms dress their babies easily. By the 1950s, Carter's shifted its business focus to infant and child clothing. In 1965, Carter's celebrated the 100th anniversary of the brand's creation, and this year it produced more than 40 million infant and child clothing.

Today, Carter's has become a leading brand in the U.S. baby clothing market, with annual sales of more than $1 billion and production of more than 250 million pieces. To date, Cater's performance has continued to grow.
