Zhuji Chain General Factory was founded in 1972. It is the earliest factory-built factory in the domestic chain industry and is one of the most competitive and largest and strongest manufacturers in China's steel chain metallurgy manufacturing. It was originally a designated supporting unit of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and the Ministry of Metallurgy, and is now a national key high-tech enterprise and a vice chairman unit of the national chain industry. It mainly produces chains, sprockets, couplings, non-standard complete sets of equipment, ingot-in chains and non-ferrous casting, and copper product processing. The coverage rate of chain varieties and specifications ranks among the top in China. It is a large-scale machinery manufacturing factory integrating design, development, production and sales. The company has four manufacturing branches and two production bases, and has passed the ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification and ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certification. The company's credit rating has been rated AAA by the Zhejiang Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China over the years. It is the only production base in China that collaborates with the Chain Transmission Research Institute of Jilin University to research and develop and manufacture metallurgical conveying chains.
