Rainbow Group (Shaoyang) Special Glass Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of China Electronics (CEC) Rainbow Group Co., Ltd., which is a technical company specializing in the research, development, production and sales of cover glass and related products. The company was established in 2017. On June 23, its headquarters is located in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, with 500 employees.

The company has two production bases in Shaoyang and Xianyang, and is a production base that can provide high-end lithium aluminum-silicon secondary composite reinforced glass raw materials. The company's G7.5 cover glass project has invested 2 billion yuan and used 154 mu of land. It has built 4 G7.5 cover glass production lines in two phases. Phase I will build 2 G7.5 cover glass production lines: the first production line started construction on September 9, 2017, ignited on October 17, 2018, and reached production in April 2019, with an annual production capacity of 2 million square meters. The second G7.5 overflow method cover glass production line was ignited in May 2021 and reached production in July. The two lines produce more than 4 million square meters of cover glass annually.

The company's main products are primary reinforced high-aluminum silicon cover glass CG01 and secondary composite reinforced lithium aluminum silicon cover glass CG21. CG01 product is the first high-aluminum silicon cover glass independently developed, and is a mainstream product in the cover glass industry; it has passed the product certification of well-known domestic and foreign mobile phone manufacturers and achieved mass sales. The CG21 product passed the scientific and technological achievements appraisal organized by the Chinese Electronics Society in 2018, which is of great significance to the safe development of my country's display and terminal application industries.

According to the company's strategic plan, a total of 7 cover glass production lines will be built in Shaoyang, Hunan and Xianyang, Shaanxi, with an annual output of 13 million square meters of high-aluminum silicon cover glass, and a domestic special glass integrating R&D and manufacturing with international competitiveness will be built.
