In addition, after the product is extended to downstream digestion, it can also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 369,000 tons and wastewater by 392,000 tons, making a certain contribution to the country's response to climate change. The company invested more than 20 million yuan to build a 50,000-ton/year food-grade carbon dioxide device project, and adopted an advanced and mature adsorption separation and purification process. The device has been operating stably since it was put into production, with product quality indicators reaching more than 99.99%. The emissions of the "three wastes" comply with the national pollutant control standards. The project not only utilizes the exhaust gas emitted by the methanol plant, but also reduces the production cost of dimethyl carbonate, further enhancing the company's competitive advantage.
