In 1953, Wilhelm Sülzle split the hardware factory that he had been operating for many years into three independent companies, and gave it to his two sons and son-in-law Heinrich Blickle. At that time, the newly established Picnic Company took over the production of iron trolley wheels and thus developed a number of excellent quality single-wheel, directional caster and universal caster. It is precisely thanks to typical Swabian virtues, such as hard work, quality-oriented and innovative spirit that the products are constantly improving. The company's founder, Heinrich Blickle, died suddenly in 1961, and his wife, Ms. Elisabeth Blickle, took over the company.
Today, Reinhold Blickle, the son of the founder, is the executive director, and his wife, Ms. Denise Blickle, Walter Wager, as well as his two children, Dr. Sarah Blickle-Fenner and David Blickle, who joined the management team in 2017. Piacli has grown into one of the world's top manufacturers of single wheels and casters over the past few decades. In this process, the traditional values of family businesses have always been moving forward with progress. This corporate value concept will also be inherited by the third generation.
