From a small company in the garage workshop at the beginning to a cutting-edge paragliding manufacturer in the industry, BGD is committed to producing high-quality paragliding and related equipment. Leading by the soul figure Bruce Goldsmith, BGD's R&D department is located in southern France, the birthplace of paragliding; the logistics center is located in Austria; and the factory is located in Sri Lanka.

BGD's name comes from founder Bruce Goldsmith. As early as the 1980s, when Bruce was a major in engineering at Imperial College London, he began flying delta wings and quickly became the top player in the UK. Since 1986, Bruce has played for the British Delta Wing National Team for ten years; since 1989, Bruce has also been the main force of the British Paragliding National Team. He has won many world honors in his many years of career as a motorist. As one of the founders of Airwave and Ozone and two years as a designer at Advance, Bruce founded his own brand BGD Paragliding in 2012.
