FAW Pentium Automobile Co., Ltd. was formerly FAW Car Co., Ltd. and is one of the important enterprises in China FAW's development of independent brand passenger cars. Since its birth in 2006, the Pentium brand has launched more than a dozen models including B70, B50, X80, X40, T77, NAT and T90. In April 2020, Pentium Company completed its enterprise reform and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of China FAW. In September 2023, Pentium introduced external capital, with 98.03% of China FAW holdings and 1.97% of Jiangsu Yueda holdings. In March 2024, the shareholding reform was completed.
Eight traditional energy vehicles, including the fourth-generation B70, the third-generation B70, and the T90, and one new energy vehicle for NAT, are being sold. The company has research and releases in two countries, four places, three hospitals and five departments, and has complete vehicle and system development, integration and verification capabilities. It has a full process quality management system that runs through product development, accuracy, manufacturing and after-sales service, and has established a domestic coverage A procurement resource platform for foreign first-class supply partners.
