Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Baosteel Desheng") was founded in 2005 and was formerly Fujian Desheng Nickel Co., Ltd. In 2009, the full process production line of sintering, blast furnace, steelmaking continuous casting, 1150mm hot rolling, and 1150mm solid solution stainless steel was completed. It pioneered the direct production of stainless steel with low-priced laterite nickel ore resources, which changed the production of stainless steel due to the significant fluctuations in international nickel prices. In 2011, Baosteel Group reorganized Fujian Desheng Nickel Co., Ltd. and renamed Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., and continued to implement the technical transformation of the original stainless steel production line filling and filling. The 1250mmDRAPL cold rolling production line and the 1250mmHRAPL pickling production line were completed and put into production one after another. In 2021, China Baowu (formerly Baosteel Group) decided to entrust Baosteel Desheng to Taigang Group to manage based on the overall planning and construction of the stainless steel industry and the integrated promotion. Baosteel Desheng has become an important stainless steel base for China Baowu Taigang Group under the "one headquarters, multiple bases" management and control mode, and an important layout along the coast and rivers. In 2022, the first step project of Baosteel Desheng Boutique Stainless Steel Green Industry Base 360㎡ sintering, 2500m3 blast furnace, steelmaking continuous casting, 1780mm hot rolling, and 1600mm pickling washing will be completed and put into production, helping to strengthen, improve and expand the stainless steel industry.

Baosteel Desheng focuses on the research and development of differentiated stainless steel products such as high quality, cost-effectiveness, energy conservation and environmental protection, and wins the market with its coastal location advantages and stable product quality. At present, it has formed an annual production capacity of 4.7 million tons.
