Baker Electric Heating Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is affiliated to Baker Group. Backer BHV AB is located in Thistala in southern Sweden and is the parent company of Baker Group. In Thistala, it is a central hub that combines local and nearby customers and covers the global market. Its business philosophy is to provide manufacturers or users with heating product components and systems for electric heating purposes. Baker Group's branches are located in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and China.

Baker works closely with clients in various countries and provides immediate support. All of these companies can produce common types of tubular elements and also provide other technologies, such as aluminum, thick film, cartridge heaters, or kettle elements, deep fryers, ovens and dryers. Beckdener Värme AB was founded in 1949 in Thistala. Baker's products originated from the patent for technical principles issued by Christine Baker in 1921. The company began a partnership with Nils Bernerup, founder of NIBE-Verken in Makarude. The principle of this technique is based on a resistive wire placed in the center of the tube. The gap between the resistor wire and the tube is filled with magnesium oxygen compounds, which are compressed and sealed. Such a unique magnesium oxygen compound is a thermal conductor and is also a good electrical insulator in terms of the technical principles of tubular electric heating elements. Electrical appliances of tubular electric heating elements are also called "Baker elements".

The innovation and founder of Baker's process is Christine Beck. He brought the world an innovative and easy-to-applicable heating element for home and industry—the so-called "Baker Component". The basic patent originated in 1921 and subsequently improved the following patents: Christine Beck’s goal was to create a product that was sufficient to produce electric tube furnaces. It is expected that this furnace may be a replacement for a gas furnace. After Christine Baker moved to Ottawa, Canada, he established a factory to continue his experiments. Christine Beck developed a complete production concept and began selling his technical license in Canada.

After World War II, Christine Beck also wanted to establish an institution in Sweden, especially his wife Elsa was born in Sweden. Mr Nils Bernerup, owner of Stora Bernstorp and Swiss MP Mr Erik Nilsson, Svalöv, were actively involved in the establishment and implementation and established in 1949 by the company Värme AB in Thurstara. The main predecessor of Backer Elektro-Värme AB, which stands in Sösdala, has become Backer BHV AB.
