Axalta in China
Today, Axalta is in an important area of the coatings industry. In China, Axalta has two production plants (located in Changchun and Shanghai Jiading, respectively) to produce high-quality paints for automakers and thousands of body repair shops across the country. In order to better serve repair paint customers, Axalt has established four repair paint training centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. There, repair paint technicians are able to learn how to use Axalta's products effectively and meet their customer needs, and the Shanghai Technology Center is equipped with research equipment. Axalta independently developed and provides technical support services to its business and customers in China and even the Asia-Pacific region. Five joint ventures produce high-quality powder coating products for customers.
